As part of our “Latin Brass Connection” week, we hold two masterclasses with the brass experts from Venezuela, for young brass musicians and teachers from Athens. A total of 9 musicians can actively participate for 20 minutes each, while others are welcome to follow the masterclass as observers. 9 musicians can actively participate for a total of 20 minutes each, while other musicians are welcome to follow the masterclass as observers. Brass teachers are also welcome to sit in and listen. At the end of the masterclass (20.30-21.00), all musicians, active participants and observers, will have the opportunity to take part in a group lesson conducted with the methodology of El Sistema! Applications should be sent to adriana@wwwdev-elsistema-gr.sociality.gr by 9/12. Those of you interested in participating actively should attach the scores of the piece you would like to work on (max 7 min long). Don’t be late, first come first serve.

Brass teachers are invited to attend a presentation of the El Sistema method of teaching instruments in groups conducted by musicians of the Simon Bolivar orchestra. An open discussion will follow.
