On Sunday, December 21 at 12:00, the El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra comes to the Acropolis Museum for a festive musical event. Just a few days before Christmas, the intercultural youth orchestra of El Sistema Greece, with members from 40 different countries around the world, transforms the iconic space of the Acropolis Museum into a stage of gathering and celebration.
The young musicians, under the direction of Kyriaki Kountouri, will present a diverse repertoire that combines classical works, Christmas melodies, and pieces that convey a message of peace, which is our strongest wish for this holiday season. Their collaboration is an act of social connection and a living reminder that music can serve as a tool for inclusion, communication, and empowerment.
With this event, El Sistema Greece continues to bring music closer to all people, in open, accessible, and vibrant spaces where music becomes our shared experience.
